At Sequoyah, diversity is a core educational value – including socioeconomic diversity. We dedicate a significant portion of operating revenue to support Indexed Tuition, with 30 to 40 percent of our families paying less than the maximum tuition level. As a result, our school community includes a broad spectrum of social, economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

We are an intentionally diverse community.

Sequoyah’s Indexed Tuition program allows families to pay a tuition level based on financial means. We dedicate a significant portion of operating revenue to support the tuition index, with 30 to 40 percent of our families paying less than the maximum tuition level.

We encourage families who have concerns about their ability to afford the top tuition to apply for Indexed Tuition. For families who submit a complete application and meet the established criteria, we will set tuition based on their unique financial situation.

It is important that new families disclose potential need for the Indexed Tuition program at the time of their original application to the school.  If your family is not assigned a lower tuition level upon admission, and outside of an adverse change in personal circumstances, we anticipate in our budgeting that your family will be paying the top tuition in subsequent years.
